Compatible replacement set for the MIA Ventilation MIA-AHE50GLB/C, based on the customer's model identification and measured filter dimensions. The set contains two filters of the same face size but different thickness. Confirm the dimensions and holder fit before ordering.
These filters are for balanced ventilation with heat recovery – known in Belgium as ventilation system D.
What the filter set protects against
- Provisionally assigned extract filter: G4 Z-line. Replaces the black coarse/activated-carbon filter with standard coarse-particle filtration for dust and lint.
- Provisionally assigned supply filter: F7 Minipleat. Replaces the white HEPA filter with standard fine-particle filtration for pollen, mould spores and airborne particulate pollution.
G4 and F7 are the former EN 779 classes. This is an affordable standard alternative selected instead of HEPA and activated-carbon filtration.
The manufacturer advertises activated-carbon prefiltration and H13 HEPA filtration for the original GLB/C configuration. This G4+F7 set does not provide H13 filtration performance or activated-carbon removal of gases and odours.
The ISO 16890 values Coarse 65% and ePM1 60% are default values; product-specific supplier test documentation is pending. The extract/supply assignment is provisional and should be checked against the unit's filter layout.
Use and maintenance
Switch off the ventilation unit before maintenance. Fit the replacements in the corresponding original filter holders, observing the airflow arrows and the unit manual. Check regularly and replace approximately every 3-6 months, or earlier when dirty, clogged or indicated by the unit. Service life depends on local pollution, weather and operating intensity. These replacement filters are disposable and must not be washed.
Manufacturing quality
Our house-brand products are manufactured by AORA, a reputable and well-known filter manufacturer. The set combines G4 Z-line pleated media with F7 densely pleated Minipleat media. The F7 filter uses a cardboard frame. The G4 frame material and manufacturability at the specified thicknesses remain subject to supplier confirmation. This is a compatible house-brand replacement, not an original MIA filter set.
